Prof. Songwen Pei
University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, China

Professor Songwen Pei has presided over the National Natural Science Foundation General Project, Shanghai Pujiang Talent Project, Shanghai Natural Science Foundation (2 projects), Shanghai Science and Technology Commission Science Popularization Special Fund (3 projects), Shanghai Economic and Information Commission Special Research and Development Project, National Natural Science Foundation Key Project (sub project), Postdoctoral Science Foundation General Project (first-class), National Laboratory of Computer Architecture Open Project, Shanghai Key Laboratory of Data Science Open Project, Shanghai Education Commission Key Course Construction Project, etc. Received the 2016 Shanghai Pujiang Talent Award, the 2018 Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award (first author), and the second prize for teaching achievements at Shanghai University of Technology. In IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics: Systems, IEEE Embedded Systems Letters, Information Sciences, Journal of Internet Technology, KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Systems, ACM Transactions on Internet Technology, FGCS, he has published over 50 academic papers, including more than 40 SCI/EI indexed papers and 1 SCI highly cited paper, in journals such as Chinese Journal of Science, Computer Science, Journal of Computer Aided Design and Graphics, Journal of Small and Micro Computers, Journal of System Simulation, Journal of National University of Defense Technology, Journal of Shanghai University of Technology, and internationally renowned conferences such as IEEE ISPA, COMPSAC, ICA3PP. Applied for 15 national patents, authorized 6 national patents, 2 PCT international patents, and obtained 10 Chinese software copyrights. Prof. Zhuming Bi
Purdue University, USA

Zhuming Bi (Senior Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degrees from the Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, and the University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, SK, Canada, in 1994 and 2002, respectively. He has rich international work experience with the Nanjing University of Science and Technology from 1994 to 1998, the City University of Hong Kong in 1997, the National Research Council Canada from 2003 to 2007, the Northern Ireland Technology Centre (NITC) in 2008, and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in 2016. He is currently a Professor of mechanical engineering with Purdue University Fort Wayne, Fort Wayne, IN, USA.
 



Prof. EunSook Kwon
Georgia Institute of Technology, USA

EunSook Kwon Ph.D. is Professor and Chair of the School of Industrial Design at Georgia Institute of Technology. She was previously a Director of the Industrial Design Program at the University of Houston from 2003 to 2021. She established and developed the curriculum of the BS ID and MS ID program as the founding Director. She was recognized on DesignIntelligence’s list of “Most Admired Educators” for two years for “her insight to nurture and grow the program with her vision and passion.” Kwon has published and lectured throughout the world about creative design thinking and design strategy development. She has been a consultant to numerous corporations, and she has developed educational programs for government agencies and universities. Her research covers a wide range of product types, including healthcare, household products, and wearable computing systems. She was the Director-General of Seoul Design Olympiad 2008, a comprehensive design event; two million visitors participated in the 21 days design exhibitions and festival. Kwon holds a BFA in industrial design from Seoul National University, two master’s degrees in industrial design from Seoul National University (MFA) and the Ohio State University (MA), and Ph.D. in arts education from the Ohio State University. She served as an editorial board member of Design Issues, a juror for many international design competitions including Microsoft Next-Generation PC Design Competition, International Housewares Student Design Competition, Singapore Design Competition, and the International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) by the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA).
